Science Sprouts (“the app”) is an offline educational science app for children aged 3–12, published by Sifiso Cyprian Shezi (ARISAN Sifiso Technology Education).
Science Sprouts does not collect, store, share, or transmit any personal information. It has no accounts, no ads, and no analytics. Everything happens on your device, fully offline.
Nothing. We do not ask for names, email addresses, ages, photos, location, contacts, or any other personal data. The app never asks a child or a caregiver to sign in or create an account.
To remember a child’s progress, the app saves a small amount of data only on your own device using the browser’s local storage (IndexedDB / localStorage):
• Which band (age level) was last selected
• Which activities have been completed and which badges were earned
• Garden / progress visuals
This information never leaves the device. It is not uploaded to any server, not shared with us, and not shared with any third party. Uninstalling the app or clearing its storage permanently deletes it.
The app runs entirely offline and makes no network requests. It does not load
remote content, ads, or trackers. (The Android package includes the standard
INTERNET permission that ships by default with the app framework,
but the app does not use it to send or receive any data.)
Activities can be read aloud using your device’s built-in text-to-speech engine. This is handled by Android on your device. No audio is recorded, stored, or transmitted by Science Sprouts.
There are none. The app contains no advertising networks, no analytics SDKs, no social media SDKs, and no third-party data-collection libraries.
Science Sprouts is designed for children and complies with the Google Play Families Policy. Because the app collects no personal information of any kind, it collects no information from children.
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this same address with a new “Last updated” date.
